Immigration Psychological Evaluation For USA Visa and Removal Orders

Your Partner in the Immigration Process

How It Works? Works?

Welcome! I’m Dr. Richard K. Nongard, Psy.D., LMFT, and I offer immigration psychological evaluations in Texas to help individuals navigate the U.S. immigration system. From hardship waivers to asylum claims, my comprehensive assessments and psychosocial reports can strengthen your case and support your legal team’s efforts.

Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by the paperwork, tight deadlines, and legal complexities of immigration. To ease this burden, I conduct evaluations in a way that is convenient, secure, and compassionate. You may choose to meet with me online via my fully encrypted virtual office or in person, depending on your preference. I work with clients from a wide variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

A psychological assessment can significantly improve an immigration case and help an individual resolve their immigration status. A licensed clinician's evaluation can help immigration authorities understand an individual's mental health and how it may impact their immigration status.

A psychological evaluation can help with a variety of immigration cases, including:

Hardship waivers

It can help demonstrate the extreme hardship that deportation would cause to the individual or their family

Cancellation of removal

Can help demonstrate the emotional, psychological, and physical impact of deportation

A well-prepared psychosocial report can significantly influence the outcome of your immigration case by clearly documenting any hardships, traumas, or risks you or your loved ones face.
